Some Of The Great Things Are Underwater
Maui Ocean Center, Wailuku is the habitat of some of our sea-friends. In this big aquarium lies creatures which we do not usually see around. Do you want to see and look at them closely? Then come and read along as I tell you about my great experience as I encounter these wonderful beings. My friend and I went to the Maui Ocean Center just to kill time. It had also been a way to explore the marine life without being deep down the ocean. When we visited the aquarium, there were several kids present. Maybe, they were having their field trip or something. The place also served as a research place for them.
It was a very nice experience when we wandered around the place since we were able to see the sea-creatures swim around the water. It was so cool! I thought that I was swimming with them as I was able to watch them closely through the use of glass tunnel. Don’t you think that was great?
Did you know about Kala Lolo?
One creature that caught my attention was the Kala Lolo which was also known as the Unicornfish. It looked like an ordinary fish but it had a horn! It was awesome. It also possessed sharp tail and rough skin which you can see when you look at it closely. Their skins and horn are their source of protection to keep them away from large fishes. There are lots of wonderful creatures present at the aquarium. Kala Lolo is just one of them. Another one that we were able to witness was the different species of sharks! We were able to swim down with them! Scary but cool! They were pretty much nice creatures – when they are well-fed. But the management assures that shark-diving is safe because visitors will swim with professional divers.
My experience at the aquarium was really one-of-a-kind. It was really a different one. I learned lots of things at the same time I enjoyed it. By the way, we used Maui Ocean Center discount coupons to get discounts from the great place. I also bought some freebies when we got out of the place because of the discounts that we had. A great and worth it experience!
